Pilkington North America joins Dyesol in BIPV development

Pilkington North America, based in Toledo, Ohio, will collaborate with Dyesol to develop opportunities in the building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) market. The partnership will utilize Pilkington's TEC series of transparent conductive oxide (TCO) coated float glass and Dyesol's dye solar cell (DSC) materials and technology.

Dyesol enters China’s PV market with DSC prototype collaboration

Dyesol DSCG-Energy and the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University have entered into a contract with Dyesol to supply a BIPV dye solar cell (DSC) laboratory prototyping solution. The prototype solution will enable the collaboration partners to develop glass-based DSC product based on Dyesol technology and materials.

Merck and Dyesol sign joint development agreement for dye solar cells

Merck and Dyesol have announced their plans to work together to create electrolytes for use in dye solar cells (DSC). The joint agreement is slated to be an indication of the potential for future commercial agreements, which would allow Merck to manufacture existing and next generation electrolytes for DSC applications such as photovoltaic renewable energy sources.
