Modules by China-based Talesun have received the VDE accreditation from TÜV Rheinland. The IEC61701 and IEC62716 certificates were awarded for both salt mist corrosion and PID (potential induced degradation) tests to measure the degradation in performance at 85°C.
Talesun states that all samples met the standard requirements for power, ground continuity, leakage, insulation resistance, etc. The tests showed that the Talesun modules can operate in extreme environments such as coastal and agricultural areas or areas with in salty environments.
Joachim Simon, CEO of Talesun Solar said, "The tests demonstrate the excellent performance and reliability of Talesun modules. With our “quality-orientated” motto, Talesun will maintain this advantage and continue to provide premium products of the best quality with the best service.”
