A DEK Solar existing customer, Nice Sun PV Co., Ltd, located in Zhangzhu, Yixing City, China has ordered several DEK Solar Apollo metallisation platforms to integrate into its existing DEK Solar PV 1200 lines to increase capacity of solar cell production. The deal was said to have been struck on the first day of SNEC 2014, held last month in Shanghai, China.
The new tools were said to have been specifically purchased for applications incorporating print-on-print (PoP) two stage processing technique using DEK Solar’s precision screens.

According to DEK Solar, the PoP process at Nice Sun, will be carried out on-board the Apollo metallisation platform, which boasts +/- 10 µm accuracy at 2 Cpk and a low breakage rate of less than 0.15%.

Nice Sun is believed to have had module shipments of around 200MW in 2013.
