Tool order: Precision Process ships two roll-to-roll electroplating tools to unnamed manufacturers

Wet processing and electroplating systems provider Precision Process Equipment, Inc. has announced that it has received two new orders from two unnamed, independent solar manufacturing companies. The Niagara Falls, NY-based company will ship two separate roll-to-roll plating system lines from its Excellite FSP system line.

Precision Process’s Excellite FSP system is a roll-to-roll continuous strip electroplating and wet processing tool for use in plating of flexible substrates, including chemical deposition, electroless and electroplating for photovoltaic applications, flexible displays, OLEDs and other continuous products.

“We have installed many of these systems at multiple electronic firms throughout the US and world wide,” says Doug Stewart, Vice President of International Sales and Marketing. “The opportunity to work so closely with two of the bigger players in the solar application arena only solidifies our choice to focus many of our attentions on the alternative energy market.”
