Trina Solar to supply modules to EniPower

Trina Solar, a fully integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic products, is to supply EniPower of Italy with 1MW of PV modules. The signed deal also allows for a further 5MWs to be supplied during the contract period, the length of which was not disclosed.

"Trina Solar is pleased to have entered into this important agreement with EniPower and to continue expanding the brand in the Italian market," remarked Mr. Arturo Herrero, Vice President of sales and marketing of Trina Solar. "The solid background of EniPower as a pioneer in the power industry together with Trina Solar's high quality modules and experience in the PV sector will contribute to the development of the Italian PV industry.''

The new deal is claimed to strengthen Trina’s footprint in the nascent Italian market.
