U.S. integrator groSolar to distribute, install Solon PV modules made on Tucson, AZ, assembly lines

Photovoltaic system integrator/installer groSolar has signed a deal with Solon to distribute and install PV modules coming off of the manufacturer's 100MW production line in Tucson, AZ. Solon’s modules from its U.S. factory qualify for the "Buy American" provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

groSolar says it will begin distributing the Solon modules to its nationwide network of dealer-installers in April, and will be installing the panels on select projects throughout the nation.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
