Valentin Software appoints North American General Manager

Paul DeKleermaeker has been named North American General Manager for Valentin Software. DeKleermaeker will use his experience in sales, executive leadership, entrepreneurial work and business development to launch and oversee the company's product and business strategy.

DeKleermaeker has worked previously as a VP of Distribution Sales at groSolar. Dr. Eng. Gerhard Valentine remarks, "We are very excited that we will now be able to support existing and new customers in North America with an office in San Diego, California and a top American General Manager, who has extensive experience in both the solar and software industries."

"I am excited to help adapt and enhance our internationally recognized industry leading software to serve the unique requirements of North American customers," said DeKleermaeker. "We are committed to provide best-in-class solutions that allow solar professionals to more easily and cost effectively design, sell and install solar solutions for the residential, commercial, industrial and utility markets."

Valentin Software, the U.S.-based subsidiary of Valentin EnergySoftware, was established this past July for U.S. and Canadian markets.

Founded in Berlin in 1988, Valentin EnergySoftware has been in operation for over 20 years as a developer of design, planning and simulation software for both photovoltaic and solar thermal systems. The company also produces customized applications for various solar equipment manufacturers, distributors, educational institutions, government agencies, project developers and installers in the market.
