Yingli Green Energy Singapore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yingli Green Energy Holding’s, announced that it has been asked to provide 1MW of its multicrystalline PV modules to SolarGy, a PV system integrator in Singapore.
Over 4,000 of Yingli’ s 245W modules will be installed on the roofs of the plant rooms at the Ulul Pandan NEWater Plant project, which is owned by K-Green Trust and will be managed by Keppel Seghers NEWater Development. SolarGy will oversee the engineering, procurement and construction of the project.
The project is expected to be completed in February 2013 and is anticipated to be the largest solar installation at one location in the country, spreading over 1,000 square metres. The plant holds an estimated 1,200,000kWh production of energy per year.
