Zep Solar boosts European market hopes with appointment of Daniel Priem
A veteran sales manager, Daniel Priem has been appointed as director of business development and sales for PV module mounting specialist, Zep Solar in Europe. The highly praised Zep mounting system has already attracted licenses from Canadian Solar, Centrosolar, Eco-Kinetics, ET Solar, Trina Solar and
Upsolar. Priem has been tasked with penetrating key European regions, including Germany, Italy and the UK.
“As we prepare to launch European-targeted products, Daniel’s appointment will give Zep Solar a strong foothold in the world’s largest solar market,” said Mike Miskovsky (pictured), president of Zep Solar. “Since launching Zep Solar’s products in the United States, we’ve seen enormous industry demand from both panel manufacturers and solar integrators alike. Daniel’s international expertise provides our team with the geographic sales footprint we need to expand Zep Solar’s products to solar hubs worldwide.”
Daniel Priem, Zep Solar’s new senior director of business development and sales for Europe, added, “I’m eager to draw on my experience developing European sales channels, and look forward to making Zep Solar’s products the global industry standard for PV installations.”
Prior to Zep Solar, Priem was country manager for SolarAccess and central Europe sales manager for Trina Solar, one of the world’s largest module manufacturers. Priem also worked for more than seven years at Conergy subsidiary, SunTechnics, where he held a variety of sales management positions.
Zep Solar said it would be unveiling European-centric product at Intersolar Europe.
