Zhong Lin Wang, professor and director at Georgia Tech’s Center for Nanostructure Characterization, has joined Magnolia Solar’s Technical Advisory Board. The role will see him help develop the technology required to produce Magnolia Solar’s third-generation cells and advising on the expansion of their intellectual property portfolio and patent filing process.
Professor Wang is a leading figure in nanostructure growth and characterization of semiconductor materials, and his work on nanogenerators for energy harvesting has received international recognition from publications such as MIT Technology Review and the New Scientist. He has also written or contributed to in excess of 650 publications and been admitted to the fellowship of the American Physical Society and the American Association of Advancement of Science.
