This new service allows the recycling of production waste (e.g. chamber residues) generated by CIGS solar cell producers, and valorizes copper, indium, gallium and selenium.

The new microinverter achieves a CEC efficiency of 96%, which the company claims is a new record for microinverter technology. The design of the new platform allows for direct integration into solar modules, enabling a new breed of AC Module (ACM) products. The first ACM products using the new microinverter technology will be available in the first half of 2011.

The OSIS Sorter EL-1800 system inspects and sorts’ solar cells automatically based on user defined quality parameters. Recently one of the first new generation sorters successfully entered production at a leading German PV manufacturer.
Product Briefing Outline: Sanyo has launched its highest efficiency ‘HIT’ N Series solar module to date using cells with 21.1% conversion efficiency, generating a module output of 235W for its new HIT-N235SE10 module. Module efficiency is 18.6%. The New N Series modules will be produced at Sanyo’s factory in Hungary with shipments commencing across Europe from September, 2010 onwards.

Zalak 5300 seals bridge the performance gap between standard fluoroelastomers (FKM) and perfluoroelastomers (FFKM) seals. The seals are specially formulated for use in plasma environments, such as edge isolation, ARC coating in crystalline cell manufacturing, TCO sputtering deposition, and selective a-Si PECVD applications in PV cell manufacturing.
Product Briefing Outline: Sony Chemical & Information Device Corporation has commercialized and commenced full-scale mass production of the SP100 Series, Solar Cell Conductive Film for photovoltaic modules. The SP100 Series has been evaluated by the Consortium for Development and Assessment of Highly-reliable Photovoltaic Modules of the Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and modules using the SP100 Series have passed high-temperature / high-humidity testing (85°C / 85%RH, 1000 hours) and temperature cycle testing (-40°C - 85°C, 200 cycles) regulated by IEC61215, an international module accreditation standard, and it has been verified that the product provides the long-term conduction reliability required by photovoltaic modules.
