BayWa and Wirsol are joining forces to build a 70MW solar park in southern Spain. The system will cost an estimated €150 million and be located 70km northwest of Alicante. Building work will begin next summer, with the plant connected to the grid in several stages, the last of which is scheduled for January 2013. Engineering, procurement and construction is to be carried out by BayWa España.
