Changzhou Trina Solar and Lanco Infratech have finished the installation of a 5MW solar power plant in Gujarat, India. The plant was developed by Lanco and is said to be one of the largest single-location PV solar power plants in India and the very first for the State of Gujarat. Trina Solar has supplied all of the PV modules for the solar power project. The Indian government hopes to develop Gujarat into the country's PV hub due to the region's open space and solar radiation.

There are now 6.9 billion people on earth, each of them in some kind of dwelling. It is there that the change must take place.
