Martifer Solar has completed building work on a 5MW PV project in Normandy, France for Germany-based investment fund Leonidas Associates IV. Situated amidst the Second World War galleries and bunkers in the coastal town of Veules Les Roses, the system’s 21,400 panels make it one of the largest arrays in northern France. Martifer was responsible for all the engineering, procurement and construction work, the latter of which took just 12 weeks, and has now taken on responsibility for the 11-hectare site’s operation and management.
