PV
module manufacturer Yingli Green Energy has signed a supply agreement
with S.A.G. (Solarstrom Vertriebsgesellschaft mbH), a solar system
developer and integrator. This is the eighth signed supply contract
between the two companies, which will see Yingli supply 5.75MW of PV
modules to S.A.G. from June to September 2008. Installation of the
modules is planned for S.A.G.’s Italy-based projects.
“This is the 8th contract that we have signed with S.A.G. for the past three years and so far we have shipped 25.5 MW of modules to them,” said Mr. Liansheng Miao, Chairman and CEO of Yingli Green Energy. “By working closely with S.A.G., which is one of the major system installers we cooperate in Continental Europe, we have been able to expand and solidify our market presence in Germany, Spain and Italy.”
