2BG and Rise Technology, the company founded by researchers of the La Sapienza University in Rome, have agreed to a collaborative move on the development of solar cell technologies. The partners will research the production of crystalline silicon cells less than 100μm thick.

Solar cell and module equipment supplier 2BG has ramped up a 15MW turnkey module line for the AV Project company in Avellino, Italy. The update of the line, which was installed in January, is the second 2BG line installed with the company and will allow the upgrade of AV’s production capacity with the latest automation solutions. The original line was designed to process 48 cells per module, while the new line handles 60 cells per module.

2BG s.r.l. and SOPREC Solar have signed a contract for the supply of 15MW module production line. This turn-key plant will be delivered and installed in the new Algerian facility at the beginning of May. 2BG s.r.l. was chosen after a careful analysis of several competitors by SOPREC Group, building construction leader with its 4 different sites, considering 2BG s.r.l. the ideal partner for the realization of the current and future project.

At the beginning of January 2BG has signed a contract for 15 MW automatic turn-key plant, it will be delivered on May to a Slovenian company. 2BG was selected among several international suppliers thanks to its high quality manufacturing lines and services, which help the customer to enter in the pv market with the newest technological systems in very fast time.

The development of the new multi-storey Laminator ML512-5L is complete. With a working surface up to 2100x2440mm repeated for five planes, the Laminator ML512-5L simultaneously laminates up to 10 2000x1000mm modules.

2BG srl introduces the new TP200AR fully automatic system for applying ribbon on the perimeter of the laminated module. With an innovative system of preparation, tensioning and formation it’s possible to guarantee a perfect adhesion on all the contact surface between tape and module, in short execution times.

L900A is the biggest automatic laminator developed for high module production with excellent results. Panels laminated with L900A successfully pass all of the following certifications: IEC 61215 - IEC 61646 - IEC 61730 (exposure tests, thermal, humidity-freeze, mechanical load cycling, twisting mounting surface, hail impact and high voltage isolation).

LO072AR is a fully automatic system which, thanks to its Kuka Robot, permits the automation of the production cycle by use of up to two Tabber&Stringers and with one or more laminators. The Lay Out picks up the soldered strings from the Tabber&Stringers and deposits them on the glass module; after EVA and Tedlar film deposit and welding of the strings interconnection, this machine transports and introduces the sandwich into the laminator.

TS600PLUS is the best solution to achieve high performance and quality thanks to infrared soldering technology and heating areas that limit cell breakage during the process. The Tabber&Stringer allows various production cycles to be stored in its memory via a PLC. The cells are automatically picked from two loading baskets and positioned correctly thanks to the mechanical or optical centring system, and are then soldered with infrared lamps. The result is the creation of strings composed of up to 12 cells, ranging in size from 125 x 125mm to 156 x 156mm.
