The
Technical University of Berlin has announced the establishment of a new
Master’s degree course for executives of the solar industry. Entitled
the ‘Global Production Engineering for Solar Technology (GPE Solar)’
international Master’s degree, the course is designed to cover all
relevant aspects of the solar technology market.
The two-year Master’s degree will cover topics such as business development, management training, aspects of technology from manufacture to installation, providing engineers with a comprehensive qualification in photovoltaic and solar-thermal technologies. The two-year M.Sc. course will include a 6-month vocational assignment and a final dissertation.
The brainchild of TU Berlin in collaboration with the Renewables Academy of Berlin, GPE Solar is designed to provide academically-qualified personnel for the quickly expanding solar industry. Further information is available here.
