AVA Solar has raised $104 million in a second round of funding led by DCM as well as Technology Partners, GLG Partners and Bohemian Companies, LLC and Invus, LP. The money will be used to complete its 200MW CdTe thin film plant in Longmont, Colorado. AVA Solar had previously said that it would start production in the second-half of 2008.
