Nanosolar has said that it has started production at its Copper Indium
Gallium Diselenide (CIGS) roll-to-roll PV manufacturing line at a
former Cisco manufacturing facility in San Jose, California.
The low-cost and innovative technology, developed over many years, is
now in production with all of its expected production in 2008 already
fully allocated to selected customers.
One of the first projects that will deploy Nanosolars’s ‘Utility Panel’ product is a 1MW plant in Germany.
