aleo solar has equipped a 3MW rooftop system in Cuneo, Italy with 13,000 of its S_18 type modules. The modules are being purchased by two subsidiaries of the Italian logistics firm Lannutti Group: Eurostock and Verde Energia.
“We have decided to invest in a manner which is sustainable, secure and environmentally friendly. aleo solar's modules are designed to have a particularly long service life and are optimised to maximise yields,” said Verde Energia’s managing director, Roberto Mandruzzato.
“How much electricity a solar plant can produce depends not only on the roof and the investment options, but on the quality of the modules and their proper installation as well,” added Giovanni Buogo, aleo’s European sales manager.
The roof array was installed by the Cuneo-based firm Giordano and connected to the grid at the end of last November; it will produce around 4 million kWh of electricity annually.
