Antaris Solar has constructed a second solar carport for GÖDE Group at its headquarters in Waldaschaff, Germany. Antaris Solar is the PV arm of the GÖDE Group.
With this latest addition, the headquarters are now home to four PV systems — two solar carports and two rooftop PV arrays. The first solar carport was installed in 2011 and generates 89,300 kWh of electricity annually. The two rooftop systems, meanwhile, generate more than 46,550 kWh of electricity per year.
The new carport is composed of 190 Antaris Solar AS M modules covering 764,498 square meters of roof area. It has a total capacity of 94.6kWp and generates 87,950 kWh of electricity annually.
In total, the four PV systems will produce a combined 223,800 kWh of electricity every year which will cover around 43% of the company’s annual electricity needs.
