Apollo Solar welcomes Wilson Liu as the new CFO

Wilson W. Liu has been newly appointed by Apollo Solar Energy as the company’s new chief financial officer. In addition to his annual base salary, Liu was given stock options to acquire up to 500,000 shares of Apollo stock , the first 200,000 to be distributed in equal monthly payments during his first year of employment. Current interim CFO, Xuefen Li will continue as chief accounting officer of Sichuan Apollo Solar Science and Technology.

“I’m also very pleased to take the position of Chief Financial Officer of Apollo,” Mr. Wilson Liu commented. “I feel it is both my honor and my duty to help direct the new renewable energy industry in China, as I believe that solar is the future of renewable energy. I selected Apollo as a strategic partner for my career development because I believe that Apollo will be a pioneer in the thin film solar PV sector. I look forward to a long-term and cooperative relationship with the Company.”

Liu comes fresh from his role as CFO for Jiangsu Sanhuan Industry and Commerce. Previously, Liu was assistant VP of the Audit and Compliance Department of the NYSE and has been a certified public accountant since 2005.

The 10th edition of the famous Metallization and Interconnection Workshop, MIW2021, will take place in the Thor Central venue in Genk, Belgium, on Monday, November 15, and Tuesday, November 16, 2021 as a face-to-face meeting.
