Tracking solutions company Array Technologies (ATI) has reached a deal with PV EPC company Rosendin Electric that will see ATI supply a 24MW DuraTrack HZ solar tracking system to Lancaster, California.
The system – known as the Blue Sky Ranch project – will see almost 80,000 solar modules added onto ATI’s single-axis solar tracker. Construction has already commenced on the project and it is expected to be connected to the gird in December 2014.
Ron Corio, founder and CEO of ATI, said: “Rosendin is one of the industry’s premiere EPCs and we could not be more enthusiastic about the future of our partnership. With more than 500 MW of solar under development, we know that Rosendin is committed to the viability and success of solar energy for the long term.”
Once operational, the Blue Sky Ranch Project will produce enough energy to power around 45,000 homes in California.
