Virginia-based utility company, Dominion Resources three PV power plants totalling 39MW(DC) in Marion County, Indiana being built by AMEC will employ Array Technologies' ‘DuraRack' fixed ground-mount module racking system.
AMEC had recently been appointed as the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm for the projects, while JinkoSolar has been contracted to supply the modules.
“Array Technologies is delighted to supply AMEC with equipment for this landmark Indiana project,” said Ron Corio, President of Array Technologies. “It is always a pleasure to work with high-quality companies such as AMEC, and we look forward to continued collaboration on this and other future solar initiatives.”
Array Technologies' 'DuraRack' system is billed to use less fasteners per kW, compared to conventional mounting systems, while using its proprietary universal mounting clamps that are said to reduce installation times and BOS costs.
The three projects are expected to be completed in late 2013, becoming the largest single deployment of Array Technologies' 'DuraRack' system.
