The Brazilian Electricity Regulatory Agency, ANEEL, has received applications to approve 29 PV projects with a total capacity of 700MW, according to an official journal.
The large-scale PV projects were submitted for approval by renewables developer, Enel Green Power’s Latin America subsidiary, Enel Green Power Desenvolvimento, and 12 local developers.
The total capacity of the propositions is 700MW – 150MW of which Enel Green Power has submitted.
If approved, the projects are to be developed in the states of Bahia, Ceará and Pernambuco.
The twelve local developers and proposed capacity is as follows:
-MPX Energia SA, 50 MW
-Crateus Solar, 50 MW
-Bondia Energia, 105 MW
-Alba Energia, 65 MW
-Dobreve Energia, 10 MW
-Companhia Energetica de Petrolina, 29.3 MW
-PCE Power Empreendimentos, 15 MW
-Aurora Energia, 60 MW
-Desenvix Energias Renovaveis, 30 MW
-Brsol Energia Renovavel, 95 MW
-Renova Energia, 30 MW
-Caridade I Geração, 5 MW
