Canadian Solar has delivered its CS6P-P solar modules for Turkey’s 540kW solar project, which was built at the Izmir airport.
The project is the first to be built under Turkey’s new energy legislation law for solar power plants under 500kW. The ground-mounted project is the largest solar plant in the country and the first to be built at an airport in the region. The 540kW installation features 450kW on-grid and 90kW off-grid. Gehrlicher Merk Solar contributed as the engineering, procurement and construction manager for the project.
