Setton Pistachio’s 300,000 square foot pistachio processing facility in Terra Bella, California has a new 1.7MW solar system helping to power its production site. Completed by Cenergy Power, two solar PV systems, a 1.120MW carport and a 560.28kW ground-mounted solar array, make up the 1.7MW project that is expected to generate more than 2,600,000kWh of renewable energy every year.
“We take great pride in the special attention we pay to environmentally friendly practices and implementing new methods to reduce our carbon footprint while increasing the value of our products,” said Lee Cohen, GM for Setton Pistachio. “…Our decision to go solar with Cenergy was made simple by their outstanding track record and power quality capabilities.”
In addition to designing and constructing the solar array’s, Cenergy Power will oversee the scheduled operations and maintenance, including touch-free panel cleanings, preventative maintenance and repair and system warranties, for the next 10 years on both solar projects.
