The chief financial officer of China Sunergy (CSUN), Yongfei Chen, has tendered his resignation from his position at the company for personal reasons, effective 31 October 2014.
CSUN, a solar cell and module manufacturer, named current CSUN director, Shiliang Guo, as Chen's appointed replacement.
A director of China Sunergy and CFO of China Electric Equipment Group (CEEG), Guo, will take over as acting CFO of CSUN beginning 1 November 2014. Guo has been chief financial officer of CEEG, a CSUN-related company, since 2004, but will resign from all executive positions in CEEG upon this new appointment. Guo previously served as acting CFO of CSUN from May to October in 2009.
This announcement follows CSUN’s news yesterday about its shipment of 3MW of poly modules to the US market.
The company said the order was for a ground-mounted solar plant located in North Carolina, and comprised 4,608 CSUN305-72P and 5,302 CSUN300-72P polycrystalline 'Made in Turkey' modules from CSUN’s production line in Istanbul-Tuzla. CSUN said it had recently completed module shipment to this project.
