PV manufacturer Clenergy, completed a 41MW mounting order for TBEA SunOasis’ Quaid-e-Azam Solar Energy Park, on track to be Pakistan’s first large-scale, ground-mounted PV project, according to the company.
China’s TBEA SunOasis serves as the 100MW solar park’s full-service provider at its location in Bahawalpur. Clenergy’s past collaboration with TBEA on utility scale projects in China’s northwest desert region helped Clenergy secure its bid on the project. Both Clenergy’s C-steel ground mounting system and new string combiner box suit the harsh conditions of the region, while allowing for easy installation and cost savings.
In a recent statement announcing its involvement in the project, Clenergy acknowledged Pakistan’s attractiveness to solar companies around the world for its high annual solar radiation, and said: “Clenergy is confident in its ability to compete successfully in this promising market.”
