Conergy has completed its newest solar power station in Tarp, Germany. The 6MW project was privately financed and is hailed as the largest continuous solar park in north Germany. Over 21,000 Conergy PowerPlus modules were used in the project and mounted on SolarLinea frames.
Norbert Apfel, head of Conergy Germany stated, “The north offers many attractive opportunities for solar energy. Up here it is an economic and environmental supplement and alternative to traditionally strongly represented wind power. We already spectacularly proved this with our megawatt solar park in Hörup, and we are demonstrating it once more. The energy from the sun,” according to the Flensburg resident, “can also pay off in the northernmost state, between the North and Baltic Seas. And Conergy, with its dependable systems, provides for secure and long term yields for operators.”
