Conergy’s chief sales officer, Andreas Wilsdorf, has resigned his position for ‘personal reasons,’ according to the company. Wilsdorf will leave Conergy, effective 31 July 2011, which coincides with expected completion of the company's refinancing efforts to reduce debt and interest payments.
“We regret Andreas Wilsdorf’s departure but accept his decision”, noted Norbert Schmelzle, chairman of the Conergy supervisory board. “We wish him all the best.”
Alexander Gorski has been appointed from deputy board member to full member of the management board to take over the responsibility for sales at Conergy, effective of 1 August 2011.
Gorski has collaborated closely with Wilsdorf, having been responsible for supply chain management at the company and since May 2011, according to the company.
