Alexander Gorski, Conergy’s senior vice president of the global supply chain, has been selected by the company’s supervisory board as deputy board member for operations and services. His new appointment will see him manage the supply chain, quality management and customer service for the division. As senior VP, Gorski worked with the board and oversaw the operations division.
Conergy Chairman of the supervisory board, Norbert Schmelzle said, “In his last few years with Conergy, Mr. Gorski has proven that he is capable for this new challenge. As a Deputy Board Member, he can now carry on from these successes. We are very pleased that Mr. Gorski will support our board in this important area and that we appointed such an experienced corporate insider for this function and thus could provide continuity.”
Gorski came to Conergy in February 2009 as VP of supply chain management. He is credited with the strategic development and optimization of the supply chain and logistics at the company. Gorski previously worked with Siemens, Infineon and Qimonda in operations and supply management positions and sales roles.
