A thirty year veteran in technology development, new product introduction and sales leadership, Dan Brdar has been named Petra Solar’s new chief operating officer; a role where he will lead the company’s sales, marketing, operations and engineering divisions. Before joining Petra Solar, Brdar was president, CEO and chairman of the board for FuelCell Energy.

In addition to his executive leadership positions at FuelCell, Brdar held management positions at General Electric, specifically focusing on new product introduction programs for the GE Power Systems division. He also served as associate director for the Office of Power Systems Product Management at the U.S. Department of Energy.
Brdar graduated with his BS in engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
