DuPont Teijin Films UK (DTF) has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for the third year running. DTF received the accolade in the innovation category, along with 43 other British companies. It was awarded to the polyester film manufacturer for the development of its line of Melinex films for PV modules.
The prestigious Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are conferred once a year on UK businesses for outstanding achievement. Representatives of the winning companies are typically invited to Buckingham Palace for a reception with Her Majesty The Queen. The companies are also entitled to use the Awards’ emblem for a five-year period.
“I am delighted that we have been recognised in this way, said Dr John Miller, DTF’s European president. “We have now won this prestigious award in the UK three times within only nine years which reflects our total commitment to stay in the forefront of polyester film innovation.”
