Eclipsall revealed that its PV modules had been selected as part of 30 new microFiT systems that will be built in Kapuskasing, Ontario through DBMS Energy Solutions and Strathcona Solar Initiatives. The CAN$2 million project plans to build solar projects on vacant properties in the Ontario province to provide a new source of revenue to the Kapuskasing municipality.
“The addition of solar energy to our power generation portfolio is an important step in strengthening and diversifying our local economy,” commented Kapuskasing mayor, Al Spacek. “Our investments in renewable energy are creating new jobs and helping build a stronger community.”
