The Edisun Power Group (EPG) has announced the sale of its smaller PV power plants to two separate buyers.
The company will offload seven installations with a total capacity of 414kW to Allgemeine Baugenossenschaft Zürich (ABZ). The installs are on the rooftops across a number of housing developments in Zurich.
A further 1.26MW of capacity, split across 32 projects, has also been sold to BE Netz. As part of the deal, BE Netz will take over a Swiss subsidiary of EPG, Edisun Power Ltd, and operate it under the name BE Netz Energie.
EPG’s portfolio is now reduced from 72 projects with a capacity of 14.9MW, to 33 plants with a combined capacity of 13.2MW.
All three parties have signed a non-disclosure agreement on the value of the deals but EPG did say it would use the money to repay two bonds early.
The bonds were valued at CHF2.015 million (US$2.18 million) and €0.45 million (US$0.6 million).
