Scheuten Solar, international high volume manufacturer of total solutions in glass and solar energy systems and EGBM, an installer of photovoltaic systems, have announced the signing of a contract for the supply of solar modules for two projects in Italy. The projects will be in Spello and Agello and will have a combined power of approximately 2MWp.
In these new projects Scheuten Solar will utilize its recently introduced Multisol module (P6-66) with a nominal peak power of 250Wp, for the first time at such scale. At present the excavation work is in full progress; if everything goes according to plan the first modules will be delivered in September 2009. Scheuten Solar will supply 3,915 solar modules with a power of almost 1MWp per project.
Evert Vlaswinkel, Chief Commercial Officer Scheuten Solar said, “I am proud that just short after the introduction of our high performance module the first contract is already signed. This proves we have the right products for every project. Furthermore we are very pleased with working together with EGBM, a family business that will take very good care of the installation of our modules.”
Nicola Stabile, Renewable Energy Quality Manager of EGBM said, “EGBM believes it will be extremely important to strengthen the partnership with such a strong and trustworthy company, leader in innovation in solar energy. EGBM will be both the installer and the owner of the plants, therefore it has selected the company offering the best technologies on the market that will be granting better revenues in time.”
