ESA Renewables has landed four separate, multi-year, operation and maintenance contracts for four solar farms in North Carolina. The contracts will see ESA’s Hayesville, North Carolina office operate, maintain and monitor the solar farms, which combined generate 4MW of power. Each solar array has ESA’s monitoring system installed and uses Advanced Energy’s inverters.
“These four maintenance agreements, as well as the initial EPC contracts, demonstrate the confidence that asset managers have placed in both ESA's proven ability to successfully see projects through to completion and in our proprietary monitoring system as a viable renewable energy power plant management tool,” stated Jeffrey Burkett, president of ESA Renewables.
The agreements are for solar farms located in southwestern North Carolina and include the Murphy Solar Farm, an 8 acre ground-mounted solar installation using 4,298 solar panels, the Wingate Solar Farm, utilizing 4,340 solar panels across seven acres, the five acre Culberson Solar Farm, which has 3,400 solar panels and the Holiness Solar Farm on nine-acres of land with 4,242 solar panels. All of the solar farms are located around the town of Murphy, North Carolina.
