Gehrlicher Solar reports that it plans to connect its 8.75MW Romanian solar project to the grid by 15 November.
The solar park is located in Isaccea, on the right bank of the Danube. Built across 14 hectares, it will produce 8.75MW of total power.
The company said that initial construction for 800kWp was completed in mid October. JA Solar provided 35,172 modules for the plant, while SMA delivered nine central inverters. The plant is expected to generate around 12 million kWh of electricity per year.
Built for private investor Ra Ra Gehrlicher Solar acknowledged that it is also working on a 536kWp rooftop project for the company in Brasov.
