PV project developer General Energy Solutions GES) and subsidiary of Taiwan-based solar cell producer, Neo Solar Power (NSP) has sold the recently completed phase II of Indianapolis Airport Solar Farm for US$26 million.
NSP said that the 9.8MW plant had been sold to a US energy company. Indianapolis Power & Light purchases the solar farm's power.
Indianapolis Airport PV power plant has a combined 76,000 PV modules and is claimed to be the largest PV power plant at an airport.
GES has ambitions to globally expand its project development business.
