Taiwan-based solar cell producer Gintech Energy reported slight increase in revenue for February, bucking the seasonal trend for the month.
Gintech reported revenue of NT$1,132 million (US$35.9 million), compared to NT$1,109 million (US$35.17 million) in January, 2015.
Sales were up 2.2% on the prior month but down 9.5% from the prior year period.
The majority of Taiwan-based PV manufacturers have reported a wide-range of declining sales for February, predominantly due to shorter working month and Chinese New Year.
However, sales have decline significantly for many, previously dependent on Chinese module manufacturers as a result of US anti-dumping duties on both countries PV products.
Gintech and wafer producer, Green Energy Technology (GET) are establishing a JV production facility in Malyasia called Gintung Energy Corp to avoid US anti-dumping duties.
