Hanwha Solar declared that it had delivered 7.7MW of its PV modules to Solvéo Energie, a French EPC, for its Rion-des-Landes facility. The rooftop solar installation will help Solvéo Energie with its cultivation of a Ginseng plantation.
“We are very proud that Solvéo Energie chose Hanwha Solar as partner for this challenging and innovative project,” said Laurent Bodin, sales director of Hanwha Solar France. “The collaboration with Solvéo Energie was highly professional and inspiring, resulting in a win-win situation for both parties. We look forward to future cooperation with Solvéo.”
The installation covers nine hectares of rooftop space and uses 36,900 PV panels for a total of 8.6MW of installed solar capacity (of which Hanwha Solar delivered 7.7MW). The system is anticipated to have an annual production yield of 10,000,000kWh.
