The
Intersolar North America 2008 event, which was held in conjunction with
SEMICON West this year, was a huge success, attracting a
higher-than-anticipated number of visitors and attendees. The show,
which concluded on July 17th, saw the attendance of 13,000 people and
210 exhibitors, the successful representation of all facets of the
industry via a series of 100-speaker-strong symposia, workshops and
conferences and the planned expansion for next year’s event partnership
with SEMI.
Solar Promotion International GmbH, the organiser of the 2008 event, was happy with the turnout of the three-day event. Feedback from attendees and exhibitors alike was positive, spurring Solar Promotion International to start planning an expanded program for next year’s event, which will also be held in the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
“Intersolar has reached new shores with a very strong success,” said Markus Elsasser, CEO of Solar Promotion International GmbH. “The growth of the industry here in the United States is amazing, and based on the overwhelming feedback we are receiving, we obviously are providing a valuable forum for domestic as well as international business in the solar industry.”
