SMA Solar noted that annual production capacity for inverters had reached 11GW, though some facilities remained underutilized due to component shortages.
The company noted that sales in the first half year of 2010 were almost as high as those in the whole of 2009.
Revenue guidance for the year also remained unchanged at €1.5 and €1.8 billion. Previously, SMA Solar guided revenue to be between €1.1 and €1.3 billion.
Germany is expected to be its largest market for 2010 followed by North America, Italy, France, Belgium, and Czech Republic.
