Following the retirement of David B. Miller, DuPont has appointed Jon D. Kemp as president of its Electronics & Communications business effective November 1, 2015.
Kemp is taking over after David B. Miller plans to retire after 34 years of service to the company.
“Dave has built a distinguished career through his drive for results and his unique business acumen,” said Collins. “His passion for coaching and mentoring others has helped shape many of the company’s current and future leaders, and his energy for building strong customer partnerships have contributed significantly to the Electronics & Communications business success now and in the future.”

Kemp joined DuPont in 2005 as part of the company’s Management Development Leadership Program.
He has held leadership positions in sales, marketing and business development in several businesses, most recently as global business director, Circuit & Packaging Materials. Prior to DuPont, Kemp worked as a chief economist and business development manager for the Utah Office of Economic Development. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Utah and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
