The juwi Group has completed construction of its new office complex in Wörrstadt, Germany in the space of five months. This new construction gives juwi the opportunity to create another 100 jobs at the company headquarters. The official dedication ceremony was held for around 400 invited guests and was followed by a celebration open to the public in the afternoon. Here, some 7,000 people came out to Energie-Allee 1 in Wörrstadt, a number that was twice as many as expected.
The new brand design was also revealed at the event with juwi founders and co-CEOs Matthias Willenbacher and Fred Jung unveiling it, “This day demonstrates the enormous dynamics here at juwi. Renewable energies are the future – and we are playing a major part in shaping that future,” said Willenbacher.
Back in July 2008 juwi moved its headquarters, with about 360 people, to Wörrstadt. Yet the company has grown quickly since then,” In 2009 alone we will increase our staff by about 250 people worldwide. “At the Wörrstadt headquarters our numbers will grow to 500 this year,” added Jung.
The new brand design is in response to the juwi Group’s growth, “juwi is becoming an unmistakable international brand in a growing competitive field. We want to demonstrate what we stand for at juwi more clearly in the future than we have so far. We are passionate about bringing renewable energies into the mainstream, economically and reliably, together with the people,” explained Willenbacher.
