KfW IPEX-Bank, which is responsible for international project and export finance within the KfW Group, is providing roughly ‎€104 million (US$117 million) to French energy firm Neoen for its renewable energy project execution.

Neoen, which recently installed the largest solar park in Europe standing at 300MW near Bordeaux, has a project pipeline in France that includes a 30MW PV facility and two wind farms totalling 46MW combined.

German manufacturer SolarWorld is supplying the modules for the PV facility, currently being constructed in the Tarn department in south-western France.

KfW is taking part in the structured financing arrangements, which have terms of up to 19 years. The financing arrangement may also involve other banks by means of syndication.
