Manz Automation has said that it has received new orders worth more than €20 million, directly from last weeks 23rd European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition held in Valencia, Spain. The company also said that it expects further orders to materialize form the event in the coming weeks.
“In Valencia we once again proved that we are one of the world’s leading technology providers for the photovoltaic industry. Our market leadership for high-throughput automation for solar cells and laser scribing lines in the thin-film segment were particular highlights at the fair,” commented Dieter Manz, Manz Automation AG’s CEO. “The innovative products that we presented set us even further apart from the competition and further expand our position on the market. We have also confirmed the trust that our customers and shareholders have placed in Manz Automation AG.”
The company showcased new product introductions at the show, including its new cell tester with integrated electroluminescence measurements which it developed in a strategic alliance with Basler. Manz said that it received an initial order for this line while at the conference.
