Martifer Solar Hellas advised that its 1.5MW PV plant in Apathia Vrachaki, in the municipality of Trizinias, Greece, has reached completion. The project, which consists of polycrystalline modules and string inverters installed on fixed structures was connected to the grid on September 14. Martifer Solar Hellas expects the project to produce around 2.2GWh of electricity per year.
Martifer Solar Hellas oversaw the engineering, procurement and construction of the plant. The company also managed the solar park’s commissioning and will lead the operation and maintenance of the plant. The company noted that construction of the plant was done in two and a half months, despite the location’s 30+ degree inclination, which made it one of the more challenging installations for Martifer Solar Hellas.
Spyros Kopolas, chairman of the board of Martifer Solar Hellas, said, “Our primary goal is to offer high quality PV installations and to cover everything, from the design of the photovoltaic plant to its installation as well as maintenance during its operational phase. At a time when investors are becoming more cautious in choosing a partner for the implementation of their projects, Martifer Solar Hellas continues to deserve investors’ trust whilst offering high quality turnkey solutions in the PV market in Greece.”
