Martifer Solar has completed its US expansion plan by establishing a downstream portfolio totalling 30MW and setting up offices across the country.
The roadmap, launched in January 2009, initially targeted the establishment of operating bases in both the eastern and Rocky Mountain regions of the country. Nearly three years later, in addition to its Los Angeles headquarters, Martifer has offices in Denver, Colorado and Connecticut, with satellite offices in San Francisco and Philadelphia, and projects underway in 10 states.
“This year marks a turning point in our history,” Martifer Solar’s CEO, Raffi Agopian, said. “Our systemic approach to market expansion has resulted in continued rapid growth, and we are now positioned to provide the highest value to corporations, utilities and governments anywhere in the United States.”
In addition to its 30MW of fully commissioned projects, Martifer has a further 39MW currently under construction and is expecting to install 100MW more in 2012. Current clients include the Hertz Corporation, the Westfield Group, San Diego Unified School District and Colorado’s Jefferson County Public Schools.
